We are gearing up for a new school year at work so I figured I would put my own dogs to good use to welcome new students and their parents. My school has been hosting orientation activities for new freshmen moving in this week. Surely, the move-in week can be exciting and yet frustrating at the same time (when it’s raining). In the world of higher ed admissions, it is a stressful week all the way through the end of add/drop period for the semester. Everyone is exhausted and waiting for August to be over.
Lilly and Stark love visiting my work so when the word goes out that they are on campus, my office becomes the busiest place on earth with visitors (excuse the messy office background…I got a big even to coordinate tomorrow). I also like to take them Webster Hall 140, aka the cube farm, where the rest of the admissions department is housed in because the staffs there are essentially my free (dog) babysitters. When I get busy with work, I just send them there! 😂
Needless to say, the dogs had an epic day of cheering up tired staffs and welcoming brand new college students!
